Assistant Safety Officer

Key Tasks

• Conduct daily inspection to ensure staff and contractors follow safety procedures and regulations in the course of work
• Assist to supervise and monitor the implementation of environmental, health and safety plan
• Support the Assistant EHS manager to develop and implement environmental, health and safety procedures in accordance with local regulations, licenses and contract requirement
• Support the Assistant EHS manager to deliver environmental, health and safety training
• Prepare and maintain proper environmental, health and safety related documents/records for audit purposes
• Conduct incidents/accidents investigation and prepare related reports

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent with relevant professional qualifications
• At least 1 year of experience in health and safety issues in manufacturing, or engineering industry or, property management, or production plant
• Holder of First Aid Certificate preferred
• Proficient in MS Office
• Good in spoken and written English and Chinese
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
