Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Project & Tendering Team)

Responsibilities

Tendering Team

• Prepare accurate pre-contract cost estimates.

• Review contract requirements, evaluate tender returns and prepare comprehensive subcontract tender reports.

• Handle contract drafting, negotiation, risk management, and value engineering.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and successful tender submissions.

• Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
   

AND in respect of Project Team

• Prepare project cash-flow and effectively monitor project costs.

• Oversee project documentation, including contract administration, progress payment valuation, variation assessment, and cost control reports.

• Manage VO claims and negotiate final accounts with clients and subcontractors, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and contractual compliance.

• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

• Independently handle new projects.

• Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
   

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the fitting-out industry.

• Candidates with less experience will consider as Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

• Strong knowledge and experience in handling large-scale fitting-out projects is highly preferred.
