Interior Designer / Project Designer

Taste Interiors is looking for an experienced interior designer to join its team in its Hong Kong practice.

We are seeking a talented and committed mid-weight interior designer to join our busy and dynamic team. Experience in interior stages from conceptual design to project completion with onsite experiences is a preferred. The candidate will work closely with our Project Manager and assist in the process of project management. We welcome any candidates who hold the ambition to become long-term, integral members of our growing and dynamic studio. Responsibility

• Undertaking design project from concept to completion
• Develop design drawings to technical drawings
• Onsite coordination and management of sub-contractors
• Research and liaise with suppliers, decide on material sourcing and specifications
• Liaise and work closely with contractors, clients, consultants and architects
• Coordinate on-site works with relevant parties

Requirement

• Experience in commercial office and retail interior design
• Ability to handle interior fit-out construction drawing is essential
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign)
• SketchUp/Lumion/Enscape is an advantage
• 3D rendering skill Is desirable
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Diploma or Higher Education in Interior Design or equivalent
• Good spoken and written English and Cantonese. Mandarin is desirable but not essential
• 3 years experience in Interior Design
• Candidate with less experience will be consider as Assistant Interior Designer
