Executive Officer under Faculty of Social Sciences

Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee works in the Jockey Club “Peace and Awareness” Mindfulness Culture in Schools Initiative (JC PandA) under the Faculty of Social Sciences.   He/She will provide administrative and logistical support with major tasks including:

• smooth operation of the Jockey Club “Peace and Awareness” Mindfulness Culture in Schools Initiative
• monitor the timeline of the project deliverables
• act as a secretary in major meetings
• complete non-academic reports
• liaison and coordination with different stakeholders
• organisation of public education activities
• any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• a Bachelor’s degree
• at least 3 years’ relevant work experience
• a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese & Putonghua)
• IT proficiency (including MS Word and MS Excel)
• ability to work independently and in a team environment
• ability to multiple-task and be attentive to details

What We Offer

The appointment will commence on December 1, 2025 on a temporary term basis until September 30, 2026.
