Company Description:
We are an integrated manufacturer headquartered in Hong Kong, with fully-owned factories in China. We aim to develop and provide quality fabrics, apparel and accessories, as well as design services and solutions to our clients.
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Sales Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in developing and implementing various sales strategies to achieve company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a roadmap for sales activities and implementing these plans to ensure the Company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved;
- Stay ahead of market trends and conduct research to uncover potential leads and develop strategies to boost sales;
- Expand customer accounts through building and maintaining strong relationships to understand their evolving needs in terms of the garment design, fabric features, price and quality and to formulate customer development plans that drive business growth;
- Identify new potential local or overseas buyers and build a robust sales pipeline through regular contacts and promotion of Company’s fabric product solutions;
- Manage the bottom line by negotiating effectively on prices and prepare accurate quotations to ensure the Company maintains a healthy profit margin;
- Manage the customer accounts and keep track of all activities, resolve all issues from order placement until shipment is completed to guarantee customer satisfaction;
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and factories to address customer inquiries, manage product development, costing, production schedules and quality issues that may arise;
- Prepare periodic reports and presentations on sales activities, business performance, and customer feedback for senior management;
- Perform ad hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree Holder or above in Clothing or related disciplines;
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in fabric products with proven track of revenue growth;
- Understanding of the market, including fabric types, their applications, manufacturing processes and quality standards;
- Awareness of current and emerging fashion trends that influence fabric demand;
- Ability to analyze market trends, customer data, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats;
- Proficiency in predicting sales volumes and setting realistic sales targets;
- Creative problem-solving skills to address customer issues and challenges promptly;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain close relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and internal partners;
- Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese;
- Willing to travel occasionally as required.
