Product Development Executive

Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze latest fabric trends in global markets and develop innovative fabric application for the garment and home textile collections.
• Lead the development of new fabrics and collections, including initial design concepts, sampling, customer presentation and final approval.
• Collaborate closely with customers and factories throughout the development process to ensure alignment on product vision.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of fabric samples to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

• Maintain accurate records of fabric samples, supplier communications, and development timelines.

  
  

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Textile Studies, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Development or Merchandising in garment clothing or home textile industry.
• Innovative mindset with a strong understanding of global fashion trends.
• Demonstrate quick thinking and proactivity in sourcing and utilizing fabrics.
• Solid understanding of fabric properties, manufacturing process and color and quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently while coordinating and managing the overall development and sampling process.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.

Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Product Development Executive.
