Costing Engineer / Assistant Manager (Based in Dongguan)

We are a leading OEM manufacturer of cables/power cord/electronics products for worldwide brand names. Based in Hong Kong, we have highly integrated production facilities in Guangdong Province and Thailand.   We would like to invite high caliber individuals to fill the following vacancy:

Responsibilities:

Responsible for handling product costing, quotation and cost analysis work from concept development stage to finished goods.

Requirements:

• Degree in Materials, Electronics/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related disciplines
• At least 4 years relevant experience in manufacturing industry preferably in power cords/electronics products
• Assist the Product/Engineering Manager to oversee all technical issues.
• Responsible to coordinate with suppliers for technical and quality issues.
• Engage in sourcing, evaluating and qualifying of new suppliers.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues related to purchase orders.
• Responsible for completion other tasks assigned by superiors.
• Experience on procurement will be an advantage.
• Achieve savings targets relative to management established benchmarks.
• Good command of English and Chinese
• Stationed in Dongguan
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Costing Engineer
