Ocean Operation Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Ocean Operation Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Euro Cargo Express Asia Limited in Ngau Tau Kok Kwun Tong District. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating and managing ocean freight shipments, ensuring seamless logistics operations for our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

1. Liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clients to coordinate and track ocean freight shipments
2. Preparing and processing shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs clearance, and other relevant paperwork
3. Monitoring shipment progress and providing regular updates to clients on delivery status
4. Resolving any issues or discrepancies that arise during the shipping process
5. Collaborating with the sales team to provide accurate quotes and ensure customer satisfaction
6. Maintaining detailed records and reports on ocean freight activities
7. Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
8. Perform any special duties or projects as assigned by the management

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in ocean freight operations or logistics coordination for USA Lane
2. Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, customs regulations, and documentation requirements
3. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
4. Proficient in using logistics management software and spreadsheets
5. Adaptable and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
6. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. Fluent in written and spoken in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
9. Alternate Saturday-off
10. Immediate available will be an advantage
