The Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions Office is searching for a capable, independent and dynamic individual to fill the position of Assistant Manager.
The appointee will support the student recruitment and outreach efforts of the Office, which includes a wide range of events, student engagement activities, initiatives, publication and digital marketing, to promote the University’s undergraduate programs and recruit local students primarily from but not limited to local high schools. The appointee will work closely with team members and other internal units to leverage different platforms to reach out to prospective students. Major duties include but are not limited to:
- building rapport with local and non-local high schools and organizing outreach programs and events for prospective students;
- giving admission presentations at secondary schools or public events to promote the University;
- planning, developing and executing marketing projects and campaigns for local student recruitment;
- planning and organizing student engagement activities for secondary school students;
- conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of each event/initiative;
- developing promotional materials and maintaining a close relationship with current and graduated student ambassadors in support of recruitment activities; and
- working outside normal office hours and traveling outside Hong Kong when necessary.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of work experience, preferably in education or marketing and communication sector. The ideal candidates should be self-driven persons with excellent presentation and communication skills; and team players with a strong sense of commitment with demonstrated maturity. They should enjoy working with people of diverse backgrounds. Experience in public speaking, project and event management and digital marketing is a definite advantage. Good command of written English and Chinese, and fluency in spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua are essential. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
