Registered Safety Officer (Ref.: RSO/25/297)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of the Safety Policy and enforcement of the requirements of the Safety Manual;
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that they are safe and impose no risk of health;
• Provide monthly reports of findings and recommendations;
• Provide safety training courses per month;
• Monitor the compliance of safety rules and safe practices;
• Conduct risk assessments for the works in the Site;
• Report to the Services Manager or his delegate any unsafe practices or unsafe conditions;
• Assist in accident reporting and investigation and prepare the investigation reports;
• Attend any relevant safety and health management committee meetings and assist in the implementation of the actions agreed in the meetings;
• Assist in carrying out safety promotion campaign;
• Assist in implementing the quality and environmental management system.

Requirements:

• A registered safety officer under Labour Department;
• Holding equivalent academic qualification for registration as safety officer under Cap.59;
• Relevant 3 year experience;
• Good Chinese and English typing skills;
• Proficiency in using Computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point;
• Priority given to candidates with proven experience/ knowledge of sewage treatment plant;
