Facility Manager / Assistant Facility Manager (Data Centre)

Job Description

This position will manage a team of facilities professionals in Hong Kong , the contracted service providers, and the change issues within the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage data centre facility maintenance for all mechanical and electrical system;
• As a lead to train operations team for the Facilities operations procedure to achieve target SLA;
• Manage all outsourced service contracts, including inspections and quality management of service delivery;
• Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations;
• Provide interface with representative and BMO;
• Manage small projects liaise with the project team for large scale projects;
• Respond on an as-needed basis to emergencies, such as system failures, fire alarms, cooling system and etc.;
• Ensure defects are identified, captured, and actioned within service levels;
• Financial management including budget forecasting, vendor payment, and budget management.

 Requirements:

• Degree or Higher Diploma holder, preferably in Electrical and Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, Facilities Management or related disciplines;
• REW B0 will be an advantage;
• Minimum 5 - 10 years' experience in facility maintenance, operations, and management field, and at least 3 years' work experience in people management;
• Experience in data centre and critical environments will be an advantage;
• Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and people management skills;

Fluent spoken and written in Chinese and English, and Mandarin will be an advantage.
