System Specialist

Purpose of the Role: Responsible for supporting and maintaining our automation and mechanical systems within the healthcare environment. The role is also responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing these systems to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

Expectations of the Role:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on automation and mechanical systems

• Diagnose and repair system malfunctions and failures in a timely and effective manner

• Identify and implement improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency

• Maintain accurate records of system maintenance, repairs, and modifications

• Assist with the installation and upgrades of automation and mechanical systems

• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards

• Provide training to users on the proper operation and maintenance of systems

• Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and vendors to resolve complex technical issues

Attributes Required:

Must-Have:

• Associate's degree or technical certification in Mechanical Technology, Automation Technology, or a related field

• At least 3 years of experience in maintaining and repairing automation and mechanical systems

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and control systems

Advantage to Have:

• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing complex systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
