Technical Product Manager

Responsibilities:

.   Define and own the product roadmap for the distributed core financial system, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical capabilities.

.   Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement event-driven architectures that support high scalability, fault tolerance, and real-time processing.

.   Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

.   Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the platform meets functional, performance, and security requirements.

.   Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value, technical complexity, and resource availability.

.   Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of product goals and constraints.

.   Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.

.   Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and financial services.

.   Drive the adoption of best practices for system design, development, and deployment, ensuring the platform remains robust and future-proof.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager,or a similar role in a technology-driven company.

Strong technical background, with a solid understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and microservices.

Experience working in financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries.

Proven ability to define and execute a product vision, balancing technical constraints and business needs.

Hands-on experience with event-driven technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools.

Familiarity with system design principles, APIs, and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Experience working in agile development environments, with a focus on iterative delivery and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of financial systems, payment processing, or banking infrastructure.

Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations relevant to financial services (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.).

Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.

Background in software engineering or computer science is a strong plus.
