System Manager - IT Department

Job Responsibilities:

• Linux Infrastructure Management: Set up, administer, and upgrade IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on Linux-based systems.
• System Design and Implementation: Collaborate with hardware/software vendors and customers to design and implement robust system infrastructures. This includes responsibilities such as operating system administration, system security, clustering, SAN storage, and developing backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• System Availability and Monitoring: Ensure the high availability and optimal performance of infrastructure environments by employing monitoring tools and executing appropriate remedial actions to minimize system downtime.
• Cloud Services: Utilize Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platforms from Alibaba to provision and manage computing resources for in-house web applications / Kafka / MQ.
• Devops: Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters (Rhino &  K8s) with Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Log Review and Job Verification: Regularly review system and application logs, and ensure the completion of scheduled tasks, including backups.
• Data backup processes and disaster recovery operations.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all system, application, and security changes, upgrades, and new implementations as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology or related disciplines
• At least 5 years’ experience in Linux server (Redhat/CentOS/Ubuntu) setup and administration or in a DevOps role, preferably in FinTech or crypto.
• Hands on experience in managing On-Premise and Cloud Platform, VMware ESXi & VDI, Aliyun Cloud, Windows and Linux OS
• Knowledge in shell scripting such as bash scripting, Perl & PowerShell
• Cloud infrastructure (especially Alibaba Cloud) certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge in petabyte scale storage system
• Excellent team player, independent, self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure
• Good communication, interpersonal relationship, analysis and problem-solving skills
