Sustainability Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Lead the preparation of the annual ESG Report in compliance with HKEX Listing Rules and applicable global (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD) and Mainland China standards, including but not limited to data collection and analysis, engagement with consultants, internal and external stakeholders.

• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Group’s sustainability roadmap, strategy and targets, ensuring alignment with the Company's overall business objectives and achieving its sustainability goals.

• Assist business units to integrate sustainability into business operations, including the coordination and tracking of sustainability initiatives, performance benchmarking, and enforcement of data governance.

• Conduct technical and/or market research and analysis on sustainability trends and topics. Support employee training on sustainability best practices and promote a sustainability corporate culture through awareness campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS
 

• Degree holder in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or equivalent (must).

• At least 5-6 years of experience in sustainability roles (must).

• FMCG, manufacturing, or retail sectors experience (preferred).

• Strong knowledge of HKEX ESG Reporting Requirements, China’s environmental laws, ISO standards, and global ESG frameworks and reporting standards, such as GRI, SASB, ISSB, IFRS, TCFD, etc (must).

• Familiarity with ESG ratings, benchmarking, and industry-specific ESG issues (must).

• Experience in physical and transition climate risks; or SBTs, LCA, renewable energy, and scope 3 carbon emissions accounting in compliance with the GHG Protocol, is an advantage (must).

• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) (must).

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, multi-tasking and stakeholder management skills (must).

• Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Assistant Sustainability Manager.
