Supply Chain Specialist

Report: Director / General Manager

Deluxe Department International Limited is a Hong Kong-based company focused on the development and distribution of ultra-premium alcoholic beverages and associated lifestyle brands. Employees will represent brands of the company currently, including Augusto Limited, an ultra-premium, exclusively sherry cask aged tequila brand.

Duties

General Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales input.
• Manage inventory levels to balance supply availability with cost efficiency, minimizing excess stock and shortages.
• Manage procurement, production, and logistics to align supply plans with operational goals.
• Follow up on all activities from production to product shipment, ensuring relevant documentation is prepared accurately and shared in a timely manner
• Coordinate with suppliers to optimize pricing, ensure timely materials delivery, and resolve any supply disruptions.
• Document and provide regular updates on progress and conversations with suppliers and other partners
• Engage with new suppliers to source samples and supply offers
• Prepare purchase orders, invoices and maintain detailed records of expenses and schedule
• Support new product launches by managing required country and product compliance, integrating supply plans with marketing and sales strategies.
• Support objectives for organic, additive free and other certifications

• Coordinate with, inspect and perform quality checking with suppliers, which may include international travel to China, Mexico and other key supply locations.
  

Skills and Competencies

• Fluent in both spoken and written English, proficiency in Cantonese and Putonghua (or Spanish)
• Previous experience in international logistics for dutiable goods
• Strong analytical skills with good proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Suite and Xero or similar.
• Eager to learn and able to prioritize from a diverse range of tasks based on deadlines and criticality
• A degree holder is preferred but not essential
