Supply Chain Manager (Metal Manufacturing)

About the role

As a Supply Chain Manager (Metal Manufacturing) at CN Innovations Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's complex supply chain operations within the metal manufacturing industry. This full-time position is based in the Wan Chai Head Quarter, and you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of materials, products, and information to support the company's business objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing effective supply chain strategies to optimise inventory levels, minimise lead times, and improve supplier relationships
• Forecasting demand and coordinating production planning with manufacturing operations to ensure timely delivery of products to customers
• Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other supply chain partners
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and responsiveness of the supply chain
• Analysing supply chain data and providing detailed reports to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as sales, production, and finance, to align supply chain activities with the company's broader strategic goals
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and internal policies related to supply chain management

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supply chain management role, experience in the manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including inventory management, logistics, procurement, and production planning
• Proficient in data analysis and the use of SAP
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think strategically
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different functions
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
