Senior System Engineer

The Role

You will support one of our business lines, Automatic Fares Collection. You will cover the APAC region project bids and existing project implementation

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability
• Troubleshooting issues, managing system upgrades, and ensuring the seamless operation of systems and applications
• Responsible for technical and administration activities for IT infrastructure which will include deployment, configuring, maintenance, upgrading and migration of critical infrastructure such as servers, workstations and system/network equipment.
• Support and recommend system IT policies, standard operating procedure and capacity planning for customers
• Requirement Management
• Write Preliminary and Final Design Specification
• Write reports and technical memos to document work and progress
• Closely co-working with product engineering team
• Provide technical support to customers on system integration, troubleshooting, and product optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in computer science or electronics engineering field
• 5+ years working experience sizable engineering project delivery
• Good knowledge and hands on experience working with software and hardware systems
• Experience in System Engineering Life Cycle, System Integration, Validation and Verification
• Cloud Expertise is preferred: Demonstrated expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, Azure with a proven track record of managing and deploying cloud-based solutions
• Solid experience in Kubernets, Keycloak
• Fluent in English and capable to write technical document in English
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to engineering challenges
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as System Engineer

Desirable

• Proven track record of leading project activities
• AFC system in Card Based Ticketing, Account Based Ticketing
• Solid experience with Contactless Card, QR code Ticket and EMV solution
• Experience in using requirement Management and Engineering Tools such as Polarion, TFS
• Windows / Linux server, SQL server administrative and configuration
