Senior Operations Officer

Responsibilities

• Handle daily system operation tasks, ensuring smooth and stable performance of trading systems

• Monitor system processes, identify anomalies and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution

• Support client services team in troubleshooting system-related issues and ensure accurate escalation

• Prepare, review and reconcile operational reports and ensure compliance with internal standards

• Assist in incident handling, including root cause tracking, documentation and follow-up with stakeholders

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. IT, CS, Product) to enhance operational efficiency and process improvements

• Participate in system testing, deployment checks and provide feedback for system enhancements

• Support audit, risk management and compliance requirements

• Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related disciplines

• Minimum 3–5 years' of relevant experience in operations, preferably in financial services, securities, or fintech industries

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

• Familiarity with order management systems, vendor or financial products is a strong advantage

• Proactive, responsible and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to work closely with clients and internal teams

• Excellent command in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin)

• Willingness to work on shift duties or flexible hours if required

• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Operations Officer
