We are currently seeking a Senior Operations Manager to lead our supply chain operations and drive our strategic initiatives. Job Description:

The Senior Operations Manager will report directly to the CEO and COO and responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to distribution. This role will focus on developing strategies that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:
    Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the overall business goals, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and risk management.

  • Operational Management:
    Oversee daily operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution, ensuring smooth and timely execution.

  • Vendor Management:
    Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.

  • Cost Optimization:
    Identify opportunities to reduce costs throughout the supply chain, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.

  • Performance Monitoring:
    Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory levels, delivery times, and cost metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Team Leadership:
    Manage and motivate a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.

  • Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to supply chain operations.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for supply chain initiatives.

  • Inventory Management:
    Optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing costs associated with storage and obsolescence.

  • Logistics and Distribution:
    Manage the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while minimizing transportation costs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain or operations management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent decision-making abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management and logistics optimization.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Immediately available is highly preferable.
