Senior Merchandiser - Kitchenware and Tableware

Major Responsibilities:

1. Dynamic sourcing of products and new suppliers for business growth
2. Perform merchandising duties including sample request follow up, order monitoring from sample approval to mass production to make sure on time shipment
3. Negotiate with vendors to meet buyer's target price
4. Work closely with QA team to ensure vendors meet our quality requirements
5. Communicate with buyer and vendors and provide suggestions/solutions if problems arises
6. Visit factories and attend trade fairs
7. Organize buying trips and travel with buyers

Requirements:

1. Degree holder, minimum 5 years working as Senior Merchandiser, experienced in handling kitchenware, and tableware
2. Experience in US retail market, with knowledge of test requirements of US retail stores
3. Knowledge of kitchenware & tableware is essential
4. Able to work independent, detail oriented, well organized and good at problem solving
5. Fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin
6. Hands on computer knowledge
7. Immediate available is preferred
