Senior Merchandiser, Hard Goods

• Source new vendors proactively through different channel with good record and close follow up work
• Develop new products independently according to the brief from the group and align with company strategy
• Effective internal communication with different teams to ensure all CPAs are managed and OTIF targets are met.
• Capable to identify the bottlenecks and initiate to provide possible solutions.
• Be analytical to resolve conflict between stakeholders.
• Frequent sourcing trips, manage to arrange complex trip to visit vendors from different region. Able to travel independently.
• Strong analytical skill to identify high caliber vendors through batch vendor sourcing.
• Strong sense in cost breakdown analysis to identify cost price reduction opportunities.
• Good system management to handle all system related document work within deadline, e.g: PI, SAP form, etc
• Review samples with buying and QA teams to provide a common solution to group & vendors.
• Negotiate terms & cost price reductions according to the given target from top management.
• Provide possible solutions to mitigate and cost price increase.
• Adapt to all internal process and hands on the system effectively.
• Contribute as required to business planning and budgeting process.

Requirement:

Work experience: at least 8 years relevant experience in merchandising industry (working in buying office is advantage)

Skills: 

• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Good time and project management skills
• Good PC skills

Education Qualification: Higher Diploma or above

Language: Fluent spoken and written Cantonese, Mandarin and English

Travel Requirement: mainly China
