Senior Engineer (Ref. No.: AiDLab/P2.1/SrE)

Duties:

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project – “WiseEye 2.0: AI-based

Inspection System for Knitted and Printed Fabrics”. The appointee will be required to:

a) lead a team of designing, implementing, and evaluating the system prototypes in various reallife manufacturing sites of the collaborating companies

b) analyse testing data collected from the industrial trials in the collaborating companies

c) provide professional and technical advice to improve the operation, mechanism and

hardware components of the system prototypes based on the testing results of the

industrial trials

d) explore the potential of collaborating more collaborators from different manufacturing

backgrounds and products in the industry for sample collection, industrial data

collection, and system prototype

e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his delegates.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have at least a master’s degree in textile and clothing related disciplines with at least ten years of working experience and successful track records in textile or apparel related machine automation projects are preferred.
