QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, valuation of variations, interim payment applications, payment certifications, subcontractors payment claim assessments and final account settlements for E&M (Electrical and Mechanical) projects;
• Conduct measurements for subletting, material procurement, variation estimates and final accounts;
• Prepare and manage contra-charge account against subcontractors;
• Prepare subcontract tender documents;
• Assist in preparation of contractual claims & support the dispute resolution process;
• Monitor contract compliance and handle contractual correspondence;
• Ensure adherence to the Company Policies, internal QS procedures, and contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building Services related disciplines;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in E&M field;
• Proven site experience in E&M QS works;
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical documents in related to E&M works;
• Extensive experience in re-measurement, valuation of variations, cost control, contract administration, claims preparation and management of sub-contractor accounts;
• Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools will be an advantage;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
