Programmer (Government Sector, Application system development)

The selected candidates will be responsible for application system development, enhancement, maintenance and on-going support of web-based application systems.

 Responsibilities:

·       Assist in application system development life cycle activities including user requirement study, system analysis, programming, testing, implementation, and related system enhancement, maintenance and support tasks

·       Assist in on-going application system support and handle users' ad hoc requests

·       Assist in user requirement analysis and system design

·       Prepare system documentation, e.g. System Analysis and Design Report, Program Specification, System Manual, User Manual

·       Participate in various types of testing, e.g. system integration test, user acceptance test, system load test, performance test

·       Assist users in preparing testing cases for testing the system

·       Assist in user co-ordination, e.g. collaboration of user comment, suggestion

·       Provide application and technical support to users

·       Provide on-call support for urgent production system incidents during non-office hours

Requirements:

·       Degree Holder in Information Technology (IT) or equivalent

·       At least 2 years IT experience and 2 years of similar capacity

·       At least 2 years experience in IT Application Development and Management, Microsoft SQL Server and Structured Query Language

·       Solid experience or knowledge on PC

·       Possess good customer service, inter-personal, analytical and problem solving skills

·       Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese

·       Good communication and presentation skills

·       Good working attitude and ability to work independently under pressure
