Product Manager / Lead BA - Leading Fintech Developer

Our client is a leading provider of advanced settlement solutions for brokers, with a strong presence in China and ambitious plans to expand into the Hong Kong market. They develop platforms to streamline post-trade settlement and reconciliation workflows, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• CCASS and Settlements Workflow Expertise: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in HKEX’s Clearing and Settlement Systems (CCASS). Provide strategic guidance and hands-on support for settlement processes, including system development and optimization tailored to HKEX requirements. 

• FAILSAFE Workflow Optimization: Lead initiatives to streamline FAILSAFE workflows, enhancing operational efficiency and resilience. Ensure seamless integration with broader settlement systems. 

• Multinational Corporate Experience: Apply global best practices from multinational environments. Foster cross-cultural collaboration and ensure effective communication across diverse, multi-regional teams. 

• HKEX Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all system developments and operations comply with HKEX regulations and industry standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and their impact on workflows. 

• Strategic and Tactical Execution: Develop and execute strategic plans with actionable insights. Guide projects from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility. 

• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex technical and strategic concepts to internal and external stakeholders. Build consensus and foster collaboration across departments and partners. 

• Requirement Analysis and Functional Specification: Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional specifications. Ensure accurate handover to development teams and maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle. 

• Product Management Leadership: Leverage 3–4 years of product management experience to drive product strategy, roadmap planning, and cross-functional execution. Balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints to deliver impactful solutions. 

Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in product management, ideally within financial services or enterprise systems
• Proven expertise in CCASS operations and HKEX settlement workflows
• Strong understanding of FAILSAFE workflow design and optimization
• Demonstrated experience working in multinational corporate environments
• In-depth knowledge of HKEX regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications
• Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, with strong communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and collaboration with technical teams
• Strong leadership qualities and stakeholder management capabilities
