POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and independent Product & Key Account Manager to join our team. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who is passionate about products and packaging, thrives on analyzing trends and consumer drivers, and is eager to challenge the status quo to drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing product demand based on customer needs, proactively expanding our product and sales categories, and managing relationships with key retail accounts to ensure mutual growth and success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Account Management

  • Customer Relationship Management.Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, ensuring continuous support, and satisfaction. Develop and implement tailored account strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Sales Growth.Identify and pursue opportunities to increase sales within existing key accounts and acquire new business.

  • Performance Tracking.Regularly analyse account performance, providing actionable insights to both customers and internal teams.

Product Development & Category Management

  • Identify and Develop Product Demands.Engage with customers to understand their needs and translate these into actionable product development initiatives.

  • Category Expansion.Proactively research and recommend new products, product categories and sales opportunities. Conduct ongoing market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and consumer trend tracking.

  • Event Participation.Represent the company at industry fairs, trade shows, and exhibitions to identify new opportunities and stay updated on market developments.

Sales Prospection & Expansion

  • New Business Development.Proactively identify and approach potential clients, partners, and markets to expand the company’s sales reach. Deliver compelling product presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

  • Lead Generation.Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective customers through research, networking, and targeted outreach.

  • Market Mapping.Analyse and prioritize new sales opportunities based on market trends and company strategy.

  • REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience.Minimum of 5 years in product management, category management, retail, brand strategy or key account management (retail experience is a strong plus).

    • Industry Experience.Strong understanding of consumer trends and drivers, with hands-on experience in retail environments highly preferred.

    • Skills:

      • Strong problem-solving skills and a “can-do”-mentality
      • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for quality.
      • Creative thinker who challenges the status quo and strives for continuous improvement.
      • Excellent organizational, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
    • Languages -Fluent in English (French is a strong plus)

    • Other -Willingness to travel for trade fairs, customer meetings, and market visits as required.
