Product Development Executive

Responsibilities

• Handling product development with overseas offices, from artwork review to sample development/approval.
• Daily follow up and correspondence to overseas office and vendors.
• Source and evaluate the supplier’s base from time to time to consolidate the sourcing base.
• Monitoring the development process to ensure projects to run smoothly on schedule, multi-source and price comparison with suppliers.
• Work independently from development and lab test submission.
• Communicate closely with overseas colleagues and vendor for product development projects and problem solving.
• Ensure all samples compliant with customer’s testing and/or CSR requirements.
• Approved sample sign by Client/Sales team, confirm the sign contract and client register before set up in the system.
• Ensure the QC team for the inspection of our production.
• Support our oversea designer for development on the new design collection book.
• Support the Material Team on new material development for the sustainability and environmental.
• Support the CSR Team to ensure our supplier can compliance the regulation.
• Cooperate with Purchase Team for Global Tender, Global development and production.
• Travel to China for sample/production inspection and quality issue if need.
• Coordinate with Customer Services Team for the 1st production run, solve the claim on quality issue from client.

• Other ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Mature, positive, self-motivated, detail-minded, responsible & able to work under pressure
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to network and utilize internal and external resources
• Good command of spoken/written English, Putonghua, and Cantonese
• Immediately available is preferred
