Operations & Warehouse Executive

About the role

As an Operations & Warehouse Executive at Tendai Limited, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and effective management of our warehousing and distribution operations. This full-time position is based in To Kwa Wan, Kowloon City District, and you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse to ensure seamless logistics and inventory control.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders ( Online and trade orders via SF Express and Drivers)
• Liaise with our customers to ensure stock is delivered within a timely manner as set out within the agreed time frame
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock takes to maintain accurate records and minimise discrepancies
• Complete Monthly Stock Count on the last working day of the month and send that information back to the UK Operations Manager

Manage the relationship with the freight forwarder making sure they have all the required documentation ahead of the arrival of each Inbound load. Reconcile delivered stock vs BOL and report any discrepancies to the UK team and file declaration in Hong Kong upon receiving stock

• Optimise warehouse layout and storage systems to maximise efficiency and utilisation of space
• Plan and manage work schedule for packers, drivers, and other warehousing staffs. Oversee the training and supervision of warehouse staff to maintain high standards of performance and safety
• Collaborate with the logistics team to implement effective distribution and transportation strategies
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Keep track and order warehousing items
• Complete admin tasks such as invoicing, filing, and others

What we're looking for

Higher Diploma or above, based in Hong Kong

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar operations or warehouse management role. Operations experience in the Food and Drink sector preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Strong familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead by example
• Technologically savvy – experience with tools like Unleashed and Prospect is highly desirable. Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders (English / Chinese)
