Job Purpose

The Sales & Business Development Executive will spearhead the growth and expansion of the motor insurance portfolio, targeting both commercial and private vehicle customers. This role combines proactive sales efforts with strategic business development activities to acquire and maintain a robust client base, enhancing the company's market share.


Key Responsibilities

-        Identify and generate new business opportunities in the motor insurance sector for both commercial fleets and private vehicles.

-        Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, fleet operators, car dealerships, and other channel partners to promote motor insurance products.

-        Proactively approach prospective customers through cold calls, networking, referrals, and tailored marketing campaigns.

-        Understand clients’ needs and provide insurance solutions that best fit their requirements, including risk assessment and policy explanation.

-        Negotiate terms and close sales while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

-        Collaborate closely with internal underwriting, claims, and customer service teams to ensure seamless client experience.

-        Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to inform business strategies.

-        Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to management.

-        Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs established by the company.


Requirements

-        Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance sales or business development, preferably focused on motor insurance (commercial and private).

-        Proven track record in sales with ability to develop new business and close deals.

-        Strong knowledge of motor insurance products, underwriting processes, and competitive landscape in Hong Kong.

-        Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

-        Self-motivated, target-driven and capable of working independently and within a team.

-        Familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements in the insurance industry.

-        Proficient in both English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
