Material Sourcing Executive - Outerwear

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Fabric & Trims Sourcing Executive to join our Hong Kong team. You will be responsible for sourcing fabrics and trims for our outerwear jacket and blazer collections to meet customer demands and support our competitive positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate suppliers of their product and price ranges for outerwear fabrics and trims.

• Collaborate with Sales & Merchandising to understand customer requirements and market trends.

• Source, develop, and manage fabric/trim samples, testing, and customer approvals.

• Oversee procurement, including quotations, supplier negotiations, and bulk orders.

• Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities, contribute to process improvement initiatives.

• Ensure sustainability and compliance with environmental and social standards.

• Monitor and report on supplier performance, maintain strong suppliers relationship.

• Stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile & Clothing preferred.

• At least 5 years of sourcing experience in fabrics and trims, preferably in textiles or garment manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of outerwear fabrics, weaves, compositions, and technical specs.

• Experience with sustainable sourcing standards (e.g., Higg Index, GRS, OEKO-TEX), supplier audits, and compliance.

• Skilled in supply chain management—including performance evaluation, lead times, and quality control.

• Excellent communication, customer service, and proficiency in English and Mandarin.

• Advanced MS Office skills.
