Logistics & Warehouse Manager

JOB Responsibilities:

• Lead the Logistics teams in Hong Kong and Greater China to provide excellent services and solutions for customers towards the business goals and objectives as well as key performance indicators

• Ensure the process of the operation is compiling to rules and regulations

• Review logistics operating flow and procedures regularly to achieve competitive cost and effectiveness

• Liaise with external parties on freight rates, insurance claims and logistics arrangements

• Monitor the warehouse inventory level to achieve business performance targets and standards

• Develop and enforce policies, guidelines and procedures for continuous improvement

• Keep abreast of new technology and concept to strive for improvement on productivity and efficiency

• General regular reports for management review and provide possible solutions for identified issues

• Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned

JOB Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalent

• 8 years’ working experience in logistics management with at least 3 years’ experience in managerial position, exposure in manufacturing or luxury products industry is preferred

• Familiar with handling procedures of China Custom, Import & Export Declaration regulations and full sets of shipping procedures and documents

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in ERP system

• Strong knowledge in transportation carrier operations and warehouse management

• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua

• Good financial sense on cost and inventory management is preferred

• Excellent leadership skill, proactive with team spirit

• Proficiency in Microsoft office

• Travel to China is required
