We are the solely buying office of the MediaMarkt Saturn Retail Group in Asia for its own brands.

Responsibilities
Strategic Supply Chain Leadership:.
- Developing and executing the end-to-end supply chain strategy, aligning it with the company's broader business objectives and growth plans.
- Continuously reviewing and streamlining the supply chain processes in Far East to reduce lead times, optimize logistics, and improve delivery performance.
- Managing the consolidation of goods from multiple suppliers to maximize container utilization and shipping efficiency.
- Leading and mentoring a team of supply chain professionals to achieve operational targets
Logistics & Partner Management:
- Sourcing, negotiating and managing the performance of logistics partners including but not limit to freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL partners, holding them accountable to service level agreements (SLAs) and cost targets.
Cross-function Collaboration:
- Partnering closely with cross-functional teams in different countries to ensure supply chain activities are fully integrated and support overall business goals
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, including customs, import/export documentation for different countries
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain (e.g., geopolitical, capacity constraints, port congestion).
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
Cost Management:
- Driving cost-saving initiatives without sacrificing service quality
- Enhancing supply chain cost efficiency to improve product margins and company profitabilities
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or international trade, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role
- Hands-on experience with China-Hong Kong-EU trade flows is a must
- Excellent computer literacy especially excels
- Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Deep and hands-on experience with international shipping modes (air, sea, LCL/FCL, rail), warehouses and a thorough understanding of Incoterms.
- Proven track record of negotiating with and managing logistics service providers
