Our clientis a reputable bank with a prominent position in the region and standing strong in achieving success in the APAC region. They are looking for a self-motivated Data Analytics Professional to support their Business Finance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyze financial data from various sources
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations for the team
• Responsible for data processing and journal posting in the system
• Support the Finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and provide data-driven solutions
• Utilize statistical tools and software to interpret data sets and identify trends
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits and validations
• Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations for effective data communication
• Provide support for new projects and initiatives as needed

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics or other related discipline
• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role
• Familiar with Excel for data cleansing and data mapping
• Hands on in excel macro, VBA, SQL, Qlik, Tableau, or other data mining tools; Advanced excel e.g. power query; Python is optional
• Experience in banking, insurance or financial services is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking and business acumen, with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights that support company growth
• Good in written and spoken English and Cantonese
• Attentive to details and accuracy and drive for process efficiency
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Immediate available is preferred
