IT Security Analyst

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Security Analyst for their fast growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security systems and analyze logs to detect and respond to threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular security assessments, including vulnerability scans and penetration testing.
• Investigate security breaches and incidents, and provide detailed reports and remediation plans.
• Maintain and update security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration and patch management of systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in IT security or cybersecurity roles.
• Knowledge in network and system security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
• Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
