Infrastructure Manager - Investment Bank - Permanent Position

Our client, a global investment bank is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to join their well-established team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing infrastructure across various platforms, including RedHat Linux, Windows, and VMware.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare OS standard builds and conduct testing on in-house tools.
• Provide advanced L3/L4 support for complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve network, storage, and application challenges.
• Conduct performance tuning to enhance resource utilization and system response times.
• Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives for new technologies.
• Analyze infrastructure for improvements and implement optimization strategies.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
• Engage with senior management to communicate technical strategies and project status.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering or relevant field.
• Approximately 10 years of experience in infrastructure management.
• Expertise in RedHat Linux, Microsoft Windows, and VMware.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL), and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
• Excellent communication skills and project management experience.

Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proactive problem-solving attitude and passion for technology.
