What You Will Do:

• Lead the ship management finance team within the corporate accounting team
• Within the ship management business, manage all the HK financial accounting and reporting, financial control, budget, forecasting, statutory reporting and treasury for both third party crew management clients and corporate

• Client Focus:

  • Lead the ship management finance team to perform accounting services for third party crew management clients;
  • Ensure timely and proper periodic statement of accounts are provided to clients

• Corporate Focus:

  • Management of the preparation of month-end reports and variance analysis
  • Plan and manage annual forecast and budget
  • Liaise with external auditors for annual audit of the statutory accounts
  • Handle all taxation matters to ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Cash flow management
  • Financial control over the group’s business transformation project
  • Review the accounting process and align with project owners for implementation

• Control Focus:

  • Review and formulate accounting procedures, set internal control guidelines for ship management business
  • Assist in the development and application of financial reporting systems throughout the company

• Staff Focus:

  • Team and talent development, provide supervision and support to team members
  • Recruit, develop and coach team members

• Others:

  • Perform ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned
  • Business partnering with other departments, teams and offices to support daily operation, forecast, budget and client reporting.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
• Professional accounting qualifications
• Big-4 auditing background is an advantage.
• At least 8 years of commercial financial control and reporting experience within large and complex organizations
• At least 3-4 years team management experience as a finance manager
• High level of integrity
• Able to motivate the team in producing quality reports timely
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Good command of and fluent in English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
