Data Engineer

Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of data processing systems. You will work closely with product managers, data analysts and machine learning and DevOps engineers to ensure the stability and usability of our data product. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data processing, database management and system monitoring, along with a passion for solving complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

Develop scalable and efficient real-time data pipelines for processing, transformation, storage, and delivery of large structured and unstructured datasets.

Conduct testing to ensure the data product meets all functional and performance standards.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for high availability and scalability.

Collaborate with teams to improve data quality, performance, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
• Proficient in Python programming language, with a good command of commonly used data processing libraries (such as Pandas, NumPy).
• Solid foundation in SQL, with the ability to proficiently operate mainstream database management systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Practical experience in database design (table design) and backend job execution.
• Good team spirit and communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with colleagues from different departments.
• Experience in financial analysis or quantitative analysis is preferred.
