Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC), a non-profit making and non-statutory corporation responsible for the overall administration of “.hk” domain names in Hong Kong. HKIRC is also responsible for the on-going liaison with local and international bodies on issues relating to the development and administration of Internet domain name systems. We are looking for highly motivated and independent candidates for the position of:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Expansion & Brand Penetration
Develop and execute SME-targeted campaigns—online and offline—such as webinars, social media activations, and partner co-marketing. Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value of HKIRC’s services, tailoring content to the needs of diverse SME audiences.
2. Consultative Support & Demand Generation
Adopt a consultative-support approach, using storytelling and real-world use cases to guide SMEs from awareness to adoption. Serve as a cybersecurity consultant, addressing inquiries from SMEs, providing tailored advice, and resolving technical and strategic questions to build trust and credibility.
3. Market Analysis & Content Creation
Continuously gather SME cybersecurity trends and competitor movements. Produce market insights and recommendations to drive service enhancements and refine outreach tactics. Design and develop high-quality presentation materials and resources to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
4. Ecosystem Partnerships & Channel Management
Forge alliances with government bodies, industry associations, and technology partners to co-create events and share resources. Identify and manage distributor, reseller, and SaaS platform partnerships to establish a “free service + value-added ecosystem” model.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certifications: Recognized cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM or equivalent) are required.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with strong understanding of threats, mitigation strategies, and best practices relevant to SMEs.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles, such as pre-sales, consulting, or technical advisory, with a track record of engaging diverse audiences.
- Experience in creating professional presentations and delivering impactful talks or workshops.
Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, and frameworks.
- Proficiency in creating polished PowerPoint presentations and other communication materials.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends using tools like Excel, AI, or similar platforms.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Language: Fluency in Cantonese and English (written and spoken) is essential; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
