Commercial Manager/ Quantity Surveying Manager

About the role

As a Commercial Manager/Quantity Surveying Manager at Universal Dockyard Holdings Limited', you will play a key role in overseeing the commercial and contractual aspects of our large-scale construction projects. Based in our Kwun Tong office, this full-time position will involve managing the financial and contractual elements of our projects to ensure successful delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the commercial and contract administration for assigned construction projects

• Prepare and review contract documents, variations, claims and final accounts

• Provide commercial advice and support to project teams

• Monitor project budgets and cash flow, identifying and mitigating financial risks

• Negotiate and finalise contractual terms with clients and subcontractors

• Liaise with quantity surveyors, procurement teams and project managers

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

• Support the continuous improvement of commercial processes and systems

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of relevant experience in a commercial/quantity surveying role within the construction industry

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field

• Professional qualification such as MRICS or MCIPS preferred

• Excellent understanding of construction contracts and commercial principles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues

• Proficient in contract administration, cost control and project reporting

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
