Colorist / Senior Colorist (Garment)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Engage with vendors and mills to expedite the process and comments for correct color execution
• Evaluate lab dip, strike off, yarn skein and bulk color submissions visually
• Engage with merchandising teams, vendors and mills for urgent request
• Release color comments to vendors and mills
• Discuss and formulate solution with mills, dyeing house, printers or vendors in case of any development or production issues
• Preview and comment on all production shade band and confirm in line with the approved shade lot swatches from customer
• Communicate with customer for technical solution in color approval
• Manage and purchase Pantone standards with customer season color palettes
• Regular review with key vendors and mills on their technical limitations

Job Requirements (Skills / Education / Experience)

• Tertiary education in related disciplines
• 5-8 years working experience in color aspects
• Organized with a strong sense of multi-tasking
• Good communication skills in Chinese and English
• Proficient in Computer skills, especially Microsoft Applications
