We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team at Hong Kong Molecular Pathology Diagnostic Centre Limited. As Assistant Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our diagnostic services in both public and private sector.
Job SummaryThe Assistant Sales Manager is a pivotal role designed to support the Sales Project Manager in driving revenue growth and leading a high-performing sales team. You will be responsible for coaching junior representatives, developing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and executing day-to-day sales operations. The ideal candidate is a proven sales performer with strong leadership instincts and a data-driven approach to achieving targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy:
- Identify and target new sales opportunities and market segments.
- Assist the Sales Manager in developing and implementing effective sales strategies and plans to achieve and exceed regional and national sales targets.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Conduct regular sales forecasts and pipeline reviews to ensure accuracy and predictability.
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and reports.
Operational Support:
- Collaborate with laboratory department to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns.
- Stay current with industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts and strategic customers.
- Act as a point of escalation for resolving customer issues and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Help resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and new markets.
Reporting & Administration:
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and forecasts.
- Ensure the sales team adheres to company policies and sales processes.
- Assist in managing the team's budget and allocating resources effectively.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g. Biology, Sciences). Previous experience in Medical, Pharmaceuticals and Laboratory industry is advantageous.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales role, with at least 1-2 years in a senior sales, team lead, or supervisory capacity.
At Least 3-5 years of satisfactory sales track record or project management experience will be considered
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding personal and team sales quotas.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a passion for coaching and developing talent.
