Your Role

As the Assistant Relationship Manager, he/she will support Senior Relationship Managers in managing client portfolios and delivering exceptional client service to our wealth management clients. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trading and Operations: Manage daily trading activities, including trade preparation, execution, and monitoring of credit reviews, line excesses, margin calls, collateral positions, and product quotations.

  • Client Relationship Management: Assist senior relationship managers by providing support in relation to customer relationship management, account opening, system operations, information preparation, filing and back-end support;

  • Client Support: Handle client inquiries, service requests, and complaints efficiently, ensuring prompt resolution and high client satisfaction.

  • Data Management: Maintain and update client data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Client (KYC), and risk profiling requirements.

  • Third-Party Coordination: Liaise with third-party institutional players, operations teams, and other functional counterparts to ensure smooth service delivery.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare high-quality client reports, proposals, and presentations, incorporating market analysis, business insights, and investment recommendations to support client decision-making.

  • Meeting Coordination: Participate in client meetings, document detailed meeting notes, and follow up on action items to ensure seamless execution of client deliverables.

  • Market Monitoring: Track market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry developments, providing actionable feedback to support strategic business decisions.

  • Documentation: Maintain systematic and comprehensive records of client documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

  • Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform additional duties and responsibilities consistent with the Assistant Relationship Manager role or as assigned by your supervisor.




What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and expanding client relationships while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in Asset Management/ MFO industry; prior experience as Assistant Relationship Manager/ Client Account Manager / Customer Service/ Operations in a private bank is a strong advantage.

  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and wealth management practices.
  • Experience with client relationship management and good interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of Hong Kong’s financial regulatory framework and compliance standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with demonstrated mathematical and data analysis skills; familiarity with financial software or CRM systems is a plus.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Cantonese, Mandarin) is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with AML, KYC, and other regulatory requirements in the financial services industry is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset, able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to changing client and business needs.
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred.
