ABOUT HEALTH ADDICTION
Health Addiction was founded in 2009 as a healthy vending machine operator in Hong Kong, specializing in healthy snacks and beverages. We currently own and operate over 1000 machines in Hong Kong & Singapore, including Corporate (investment banks, law firms, large corporations, hospitals) and Education (international schools, universities) clients.

Overview
The Assistant Manager, Operations will be responsible for managing the logistics team that provides delivery services for vending machine stock refills, overseeing the warehouse team to manage inventory, and leading the engineering team to maintain and service vending machines. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Management
- Supervise the logistics team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of stock to vending machines.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize delivery routes and reduce costs.
- Monitor delivery schedules and address any issues related to stock replenishment.
Warehouse Management
- Oversee the warehouse team to ensure effective inventory management and stock control.
- Implement best practices for inventory tracking, warehousing, and order fulfillment.
- Analyze inventory levels and forecast demand to avoid stock shortages or overages.
Procurement Management
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor sourcing and negotiation of purchasing terms.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier and vendor performance to ensure compliance with food safety standards, competitive pricing, and service quality.
- Foster strong relationships with both potential and existing vendors to secure optimal value and drive innovation in sourcing new products.
Engineering Management
- Lead the engineering team to ensure proper maintenance and servicing of vending machines.
- Coordinate repairs and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime of machines.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in machine operations.
New Business Development
- Identify and develop new operational opportunities to enhance service offerings and drive growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to explore innovative solutions and improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze market trends to identify new areas for expansion and service enhancement.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, Group Finance and Group HR.
- Analyze operational metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, manufacturing or a related field.
- Over 5 years of project management experience, with a strong preference for candidates possessing operational expertise in supply chain management and experience in Project Management within the manufacturing sector.
- Solid background in change management, including significant experience in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Comprehensive understanding of warehouse management and logistics principles.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Google Workspace tools.
