Assistant Manager (IT Infrastructure)

Our client adopts an ecosystem approach to foster innovation growth. By leveraging cross-industry collaboration and customized infrastructure, are now looking for potential candidate to join their team as Assistant Manager (IT Infrastructure).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all systems operate in a stable and effective environment to meet all Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Implement technical projects to meet business requirements
• Lead project activities, including requirement gathering, site preparation, progress monitoring, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and transition to ongoing support
• Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents
• Plan for the transition of projects to ongoing support (Business As Usual) and assist in managing existing IT systems or managed service providers
• Take ownership of problems and follow up through the escalation procedure for all critical issues
• Provide second-tier end-user support for network connectivity and server-related problems
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Diploma holder or higher, preferably in IT. Candidates with more work experience and lower education or professional qualifications will also be considered
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience; candidates with less experience may be considered for the Senior Infrastructure Specialist role
• Experience with virtualization, Azure, AWS, containers, OpenShift, and Kubernetes is advantageous
• Certifications in Windows, Linux, Azure, AWS, PMP, and ITIL are a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese
