Assistant Finance Manager/ Finance Manager (Ref: FO/AFM/20250724_ct)

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Management (approximately 40%)

• Handle full set of accounting for the assigned entities;
• Responsible for accounting operation, including bank reconciliation, prepare P&L, balance sheet and other financial reports on monthly basis;
• Support the Finance Office with financial and management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial and business analysis;
• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable operations;
• Ensure the compliance of internal control and financial policies; and
• Assist with the preparation of the annual statutory financial audit.

Treasury (approximately 30%)

• Take ownership of monthly profit & loss and analyses of treasury function;
• Perform and support treasury functions including cash management, fund management, bank administration;
• Advise management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and long-term planning; and provide cash analysis and other related reports to management; and
• Forecast cash flow positions and provide recommendations on the source and use of funds to management; and ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational, capital and investment requirements.

Investment Reporting and Administration (approximately 30%)

• Prepare periodic and ad hoc reporting and financial analysis of investment portfolio based on reporting materials from investment managers, conduct quantitative analysis on existing investments and new investment opportunities, and present investment managers’ recommendations to management;
• Work with internal and external parties to monitor the risks and performance of investment portfolio, and administer and execute investment transactions approved by management; and
• Prepare the accounting journal entries related to change in value and transactions in investment portfolio.

Others

• Handle secretarial tasks of Finance Committee; and
• Support/lead other business activities and tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or above in Finance, Accounting or other related discipline;
• Qualified CPA/ CFA holder will be an advantage;
• At least 6 years of solid relevant experience; and at least 2 years at managerial position;
• With relevant experience from investment firms, investment department or treasury department of sizeable corporations is preferable but not a compulsory requirement;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Proficiency of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin; and
• A knowledgeable and experienced user of SAP would be an added advantage.
