The role is to assist Data Collection Manager in establishing, implementing and monitoring process and procedures of the data collection, both inter-departmental and intra-departmental, project management, to ensure the operations are run cost effectively and efficiently
Candidates with less experience may also be considered for the role ofSenior Data Collection Executive.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Train and monitor performance of all the team members
- Assist in training and monitoring performance of interviewers and recruiters
- Assist in setting up standards and mechanisms to control and minimize the costs for control and budgeting purposes.
- Make sure the sampling and sample design for each job are in a proper way.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring the process and methodologies to ensure compliance of the international standards.
- Manage the provision of field updates to ensure the procedures and schedules are complied.
- Client servicing for field observation.
- Manage the operations of interviewer to ensure resources are well planned and allocated to carry out the jobs.
- Keep track of the project progress and schedule in order to ensure a stable work force.
- Able to share DC insight with RSH team; proactively feedback problems or potential issues to RSH team
- Assist Data Collection Manager in developing menu and data control for tracking studies
- Throughout understanding of Data Collection operation
- Familiar with QC, D&E, and DP workflow in order to ensure smooth operation between inter- departments
- Gain knowledge on new RSH approach and new survey tool;
- Able to execute project with new tool or new DC device is used
- Continue to build client relationship
Person specification
Qualification:
- Form 7 graduate / DSE graduate or above
- Good English, both verbal and written
- Over 5 years experience in fieldwork, over 2 of which is on managerial level
Knowledge (including general and IPSOS specific knowledge):
- Resourceful and knowledge of the labour market
- Knowledge and expertise in recruiting various groups of respondents
- Various interview methodologies and techniques
- Knowledge and expertise in Interviewer's training
- Knowledge and expertise in all sampling methods
- Knowledge and expertise in Market Research
Skill (including technical and people skill):
