Analyst Programmer (Cisco / H3C / Huawei / SangFor / Hillstone)

Seconded to our public sector clients to implement mixed approach involving both outsourced and in-house network infrastructure migration.

• Migrate and support IT infrastructure, including networks, firewalls and security related equipment;

• Participate in the installation, testing and evaluation of new hardware, software and technologies;

• Configure and support network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, security related equipment) to ensure optimal performance and security;

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix system and network problems;

• Prepare and maintain network documentation;

• Provide project implementation and daily operations of system install and configure, testing and change request, etc;

• Assist in the implementation and support of appropriate security controls in IT systems;

• Undertake any other duties as assigned by his/her supervisors; and

• Able to work under pressure.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer and Information Technology related discipline;

• Level 2 / Grade E or above in Chinese Language and Level 2 / Grade E or above in English Language (Syllabus B before 2007) in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and fluency in spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua and in written English and Chinese;

• Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant post-qualification IT experience of which 1 year must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity;

• Have hands-on experience in the deployment and migration of network infrastructure in different brand such as Cisco, H3C, Huawei, SangFor and Hillstone;

• Have hands-on experience in the deployment of NDR;

• At least 1 year' experience in Cisco, Huawei and H3C network device; and

• Preference will be given to those candidates with professional qualifications such as CCNA, HCIA, H3CSE-RS+ or experience in network administration or configuration.
