Terms of Job Search

Set forth below are the terms and conditions (“Terms of Job Search”) governing the Users’ access to and use of Openrice.com, OpenJobs.com.hk, other media platforms or other websites and applications including mobile webs and mobile powered by Openrice Group Inc. and/or its subsidiary(ies) and/or affiliate(s) applications (hereinafter singly or collectively referred to as the "Channel(s)") for viewing and/or responding to any job advertisements posted on the Channels and/or any Users’ viewing or responding to any job advertisements sent by the Company (“Job Search Service”). Any job advertisement posted on the Channels shall hereinafter be referred to as “Job Ad”. Unless otherwise defined, terms used in this Terms of Job Search shall have the same meaning as those used in the Terms and Conditions of OpenJobs Service.

By accessing or using the Job Search Service, Users (including Members acknowledge that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms of Job Search, the Terms and Conditions of OpenJobs Service and the Privacy Policy and have agreed to be bound by them.

The Job Search Service is for personal and non-commercial use only. In this Terms of Job Search Service, “you” and “User” means any User using the Job Search Service.

  1. You must be at least 18 years’ old to use the Job Search Service.
  2. Content of any Job Ad is provided by a client (“Employer”) of the Company who has placed such Job Ad via the Channels. Users acknowledge and understand that the Company does not have any obligation to screen any Job Ad nor confirm the accuracy, completeness, legality or reliability of any Job Ad.
  3. The Company does not guarantee any Employer will receive, access or respond to any job applications made by any Users via the Channels.
  4. When any User responds to a Job Ad by using the “Apply” button, the Channel will send the User’s name, email address and telephone number (“Contact Information”), his Message to Employer (“Message”) and the other personal information, including but not limited to the User’s resume and certificates as provided by such User (“CV Information”) to Employer who has posted such Job Ad after the User clicks the “Submit” button. Users responding to any Job Ad consent to their Contact Information, Message and CV Information sent via the Channel will be processed, stored and used by the Company according to Terms and Conditions of OpenJobs Service and the Privacy Policy.
  5. The Company may automatically send any User recommended Job Ad (“Job Recommendation”) via the email address with which a Member creates the Account or by which a User responds to any Job Ad via the Channels. The Company may determine what these Job Recommendations are on the basis of different factors, including but not limited to, information the Users provided via the Channels, searches conducted by Users via the Channels and/or Job Ad Users view or respond to.
  6. The Company does not validate any job offer and therefore Users should verify the validity of job offer made by any Employer.
  7. You agree that you shall only post or send information of your own self and shall not post or send any non-resume related information or incomplete, false or inaccurate information via the Channels and not to respond to any Job Ad for any reason other than to apply for the job being advertised for your own self.
  8. Users are solely responsible for the content and accuracy of any Contact Information or material sent by them via the Channels to the Employers.
  9. Any queries the Users have relating to Job Ad should be sent to the related Employer directly.
  10. The Company is not responsible for nor involved in dealings or disputes between any Employer and User. Employer and User shall resolve any disputes between themselves.
  11. The use of any information of the Users and the Contact Information sent by such Users to Employers via the Channels when Users’ respond to any Job Ad is without control of the Company. Users agree that all personal data and materials sent to Employers or submitted through the Channels are given entirely at their own risk.
  12. The Company shall not in any way be considered an agent of either the Employer or User with respect to any use of the Job Search Service.
  13. The Company disclaims all warranties with regards to transmission or storage of emails or any messages corresponding with any actions Users take on responding to any Job Ad.
