This recipe was based on Chinese styled western food. But who would bother to find its originate if the food is tasty? Kids will love this chicken wings dish, and the sweet sauce goes best with rice!

Ingredient and Portion
chicken wings 480g
ginger slices 2pcs
Scallions 1stalk
star aniseed 1pc
peppercorns- some
Seasoning
marinade for pork:
shaoxing wine 1tbsp
pinch of pepper

Seasonings:
water 3/8cups
sweet soya sauce 4tbsp
slab sugar 1/2pc
tabasco 1 1/2tbsp
Method
Wash chicken wings, then soak up moisture with kitchen towel. Marinade for 20 minutes.
Heat some oil, fry ginger slices and scallions, then add in chicken wings and stir well. Add in some wine, and put in aniseeds and peppercorns and rest of seasonings. Stir well, then turn to low heat and cook until chicken wings are done. Simmer further until sauce is thick, then serve with a dash of sesame oil.
